Part of the San Francisco community for 160 years and counting, UCSF has participated in AIDS Walk San Francisco since the start of the epidemic and continues to be a fundraising force as a top team for decades.

Those who raise $25 will get a free team UCSF T-shirt and a free lunch at the UCSF table in Robin Williams Meadow in Golden Gate Park. Please arrive by 9 a.m. to pick up your T-shirt and get a complimentary pancake breakfast inside the tent at AIDS Walk San Francisco. Also be on hand for a team UCSF photo opportunity on hippie hill. After the walk, please be sure to return to the UCSF table to get your lunch.

Immerse yourself in the rejuvenating sounds of Crystal Singing Bowls, Paiste Gongs, Hand Pan, Monochord, Native and Ocean Drums, Chimes, vocals and more. Creating a meditative and relaxing environment through frequency, vibration, and intention — the sound bath promotes calm and peace, stimulating healing and gratitude, and helps to release anxiety, stress, worry, and fear.

No Experience necessary. Please enter the Orchid Pavilion through the gate at the right of the Conservatory of Flowers. Your ticket also allows you exclusive entry to the Conservatory of Flowers from 6:30-7:00pm.

What to bring:

Yoga mat required, and anything else you need to be comfortable (extra padding/blankets/pillows/water) Feel free to bring your crystals to charge in the frequencies Wear warm layers as the building is weatherproofed but not heated Creating a comfortable cocoon will allow you to fully reap the benefits of these sound vibrations.

Bring your little bears to Thrive City to shake, rattle, and rock ‘n’ roll! Little Bears teachers create musical journeys focusing on socialization, musical appreciation, and the deep embodiment of rhythm and melody. Allow them to learn and interact with music as a joyful expression of self!

There will be two sessions broken up by age group:

Get up and get down” with guitar slingin’ musician Teacher Barb! She’ll keep your toes tapping and your fingers snapping with timeless rock n’ roll, country, folk, blues and jazz classics as well as unforgettable original songs written just for kids and families. Teacher Barb creates a fun and supportive musical environment to inspire the human spirit. Children, and the adults who love them, will learn to sing in tune, explore the beat, feel the rhythm, find the rhyme and so much more. Come on down to Thrive City and join in the musical fun. With Teacher Barb's help, you'll be singing and dancing long after class is over.
