Please join us for our next Young Investigators in International Research Conference (YIC) at SFGH.  We plan to meet in-person for the 2023-24 academic year.

Our schedule for the coming months is as follows:
September 7: Dr. Jessica Briggs;  Impact of malaria control interventions on the population genetics of Plasmodium falciparum in a high transmission area of Uganda + an update on K23/IMMRSE-U projects.

December 7: Dr. Sarah Puryear
January 25, 2024: Dr. Rebecca Abelman

The goal of the conference is to provide a forum for junior investigators (fellows and faculty) to discuss research that they conduct in international settings.  The topics for discussion are driven by the needs of the researcher.  Each YIC is assigned to a junior investigator, rather than a specific topic. Senior investigators with significant experience working in international health research attend as well, to provide advice and feedback in an informal, small group setting.
