About this Event
The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the pace of digital communication – emails, websites, apps, webinars abound for the UCSF community. But who are you really talking to, and what information do they really need? Last year, the Office of Communications and IT embarked on a project to begin building a UCSF Employee Digital Experience to eventually deliver targeted and curated information to each individual. As a starting point, we interviewed more than 140 employees to truly understand the internal communications needs at UCSF.
In this session, Edelman’s Jonathan Jordan and Kristina Gong, who led the discovery work, will outline 9 key “personas” that emerged from the interviews. They’ll also provide some takeaways on how we can all improve internal communications to target these personas, and discuss how COVID-19 could be changing how we communicate for years to come.
