Webinar - ACES and Related Adversity in Pediatric Primary Care: Assessment and Next Steps

*Webinar Learning Objectives*

• Recognize the impact of ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and related events on patients, the health care team and describe a least one trauma-informed approach that can serve as a countermeasure
• Identify California-approved screening tools for ACES and related events that can be reimbursed in pediatric and adult practices
• Determine at least one change in usual primary care flow that can be implemented to screen and assess for ACEs and related adversity, using California approved algorithms
• Utilize the core principles of trauma informed care and systems to discuss screening results and next steps for children and families with elevated ACES scores
