University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

This event will help match UCSF faculty that have eligible grants for a diversity supplement with eligible trainees.

UCSF is hosting a matchmaking event that will provide you with an opportunity to have short, 10-minute interviews with trainees at the postbaccalaureate stage who are interested in pursuing a career in research and qualify for funding through the NIH Diversity Supplement mechanism.  Typically, NIH Diversity Supplements provide salary support for the trainee to work in your lab as a Junior Specialist for 1-2 years. Trainees who make a match through the Matchmaking Event will have the opportunity to apply to the UCSF PROPEL Program, which is a new post-baccalaureate program. Faculty who have funding other then a diversity supplement to hire a student are also welcome to register
