University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

Please join UCSF leaders for the first in a series of quarterly town hall meetings focusing on UCSF’s Anti-Racism initiative led by Vice Chancellor of Diversity and Outreach Renee Navarro on Friday, Aug. 21, from noon to 1:15 p.m.

This first forum will focus on the educational mission and issues raised by students and trainees over the past few months. UCSF’s deans will describe ongoing efforts to address systemic racism, including adding new required coursework, ranging from anti-racism and its consequences in science and health care to the social determinants of health.

The purpose of these new quarterly town halls is to provide an ongoing forum whereby members of the UCSF community can learn about anti-racism efforts across the campus and UCSF Health in education, health care and research, as well as new recruitment and advancement practices for faculty and staff. All members of the UCSF community are encouraged to attend these town halls.
