UCSF Alumni Week 2020: Impacting Care for San Francisco's Most Vulnerable

Lack of affordable housing negatively affects physical and mental health. As a manifestation of our commitment to health equity – one of the grand challenges of UCSF: The Campaign – UCSF students and faculty members are working to improve the health of individuals who are suffering due to homelessness and housing instability. During this session, panelists will share case studies and describe how they are building the evidence base to support their efforts to impact care for San Francisco’s most vulnerable people.

Speakers:
Heather Leutwyler, RN, PhD ’09, FNP (moderator)
Jennifer Cocohoba, PharmD ’01, MAS ’08
Gerri Collins-Bride, RN, MS ’81
Taylor Cuffaro, RN, PhD
Shannon Smith-Bernardin, RN, CNL, PhD ’16
