UCSF Advocates on Tax Reform

Tax reform is moving quickly through Congress. Unfortunately, these bills have the potential to negatively impact UCSF, our students, faculty and staff.

Democrats and Republicans alike need to hear from their constituents that the proposed legislation will increase the costs of education, research, as well as health care for all Americans.  Tax reform should not be passed at the expense of students.

Join us to voice your concern about tax reform.

  • Friday, Dec. 1, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Genentech Hall, 2nd Floor Atrium & Room GEN-S271
    Mission Bay
  • Tuesday, Dec. 5, 12 noon to 3 p.m.
    Kalmanovitz Library, Room CL-213 & CL-214

Lunch will be available at both events.

Drop by for a few minutes to register your opposition to these reforms with your Congressional representatives. UCSF’s government relations and social media staff will be on hand to assist you in making calls and crafting tweets on your cell phone.

It is critical that the UCSF community join together to help shape public policy that enables us to continue advancing UCSF's mission. If you would like to participate in this or other upcoming UCSF advocacy efforts, consider signing up for UCSF Advocates as well as the UC Advocacy Network.
