Living with meningioma can be a difficult and isolating experience. Many meningioma patients find comfort and strength through connecting and exchanging stories, information, and resources with other individuals affected by a similar diagnosis.

This support group is open to UCSF patients with a diagnosis of meningioma.

Meetings are facilitated by a neurosurgery nurse and a member of our research staff who work together to create and maintain a safe space to talk and explore important topics, such as:

  • Emotional and mental well-being
  • Side effect and symptom management
  • Survivorship opportunities
  • Treatment options
  • Research developments
  • Community resources

This helps us ensure that the group is appropriate for you and supports a positive and supportive experience for all members.  You will be notified via email once the review is complete and your enrollment is confirmed.
