Grad Slam is back! Join us as PhD students engage us with accessible 3-minute research talks.

UCSF's 9th Annual Grad Slam Competition will culminate with the main event on April 2, as part of our celebration of National Graduate Student Appreciation Week.

Join us as 10 PhD student finalists each present their research in 3 minutes or less in front of the judges and live and remote audiences – in language accessible to a general audience.  Cash prizes of $4,000, $2,000, and $1,000 will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners selected by the judges. Note that YOU may also be a judge! The winner of the "People's Choice" category ($750 prize) will be chosen by the live and remote audience. The 1st prize winner will go on to compete in the UC systemwide Grad Slam competition at the end of April.

Join us in person at Mission Bay, or tune in for the YouTube live stream. Both live and remote audiences will be able to vote for the "People's Choice" audience award.

The Grad Slam competition at UCSF is presented by the Graduate Division.

UCSF welcomes everyone, including people with disabilities to our events. To request a reasonable accommodation for this event, please contact Analisa Bea at analisa.bea@ucsf.edu as soon as possible.
