UC Moves is an annual UC-wide wellbeing event that promotes wellness and an active lifestyle.  This year’s theme is Bloom. Through a friendly competition among all UC campuses, this event encourages our community to incorporate movement and wellness into their daily routine.

About the challenge

This physical activity program is a fun and inspiring way to move more. Whether you hike a mountain or jog around the block, you choose the activity — do the same thing each day or try something different — as you discover something new about spring each week. Logging exercise is simple. Automatically track your steps on a smart device, or record your favorite activities and the program automatically converts your minutes to steps. Delicious recipes, inspiring articles, and motivating daily emails help you keep moving.

Earn entries into a drawing for a free Fitbit for every recruitment activity you complete. Increase your chances of winning the more recruitment actions you take.

Prizes

Weekly Winners
Participants who meet the weekly goal (at least 6,000 steps per day, or 15 points per week) will be entered into weekly drawings.

  • 10 winners per week will receive a $10 gift card (40 total winners)

Grand Prize Raffle
Participants who meet the weekly goals throughout the challenge will be entered into the grand prize drawing. Winners will receive $25 gift cards in the following categories:

  • 5 individual winners
  • Small team (3–10 members)
  • Medium team (11–25 members)
  • Large team (26–40 members)
