The leaders of this workshop introduce major themes in high-value care including cost-conscious care, waste, and harm reduction to improve outcomes and engage participants in activities to:

• Illustrate teaching opportunities in high-value care with learners
• Discover ways to incorporate high-value care into health professions education
• Elicit ideas for incorporating high-value care into existing or new health systems improvement activities

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Identify major themes in high-value care including cost-conscious care, waste, and harm reduction to improve outcomes
• Identify teaching opportunities in high-value care with learners
• Implement strategies to incorporate high-value care into medical education
• Design health systems improvement activities for learners, focusing on value
