DESCRIPTION:Please note: You must complete Part 1 before you can take Part 
 2. Part 1 dates\n\nThe Education Leadership Certificate is meant for facul
 ty and staff who are in leadership roles related to education\, or are pur
 suing such roles. Participants will learn about leadership theories and st
 yles\, and discover their own strengths as leaders to support others and t
 o engage in change management. \n\nPrior participation in Educators Essent
 ials or other faculty development focused on these topics is strongly enco
 uraged. A self-assessment is available in the course to help you decide if
  this course is right for you. If you are uncertain about your knowledge a
 nd skills in regards to any of the questions\, we strongly recommend you t
 ake the Educator Essential Certificate first.\n\nCertificate completion re
 quires participation in two full-day in-person sessions (Part 1 and Part 2
 \, to be taken in order\; do not have to be completed during the same acad
 emic year)\, as well as an experiential activity of your choosing (approxi
 mate time commitment: 2 hours). This certificate is open to faculty and st
 aff only.\n\nThis event is in person only. No online or hybrid option is c
 urrently offered.
