DESCRIPTION:The Education Leadership Certificate is meant for faculty and s
 taff who are in leadership roles related to education\, or are pursuing su
 ch roles. Participants will learn about leadership theories and styles\, a
 nd discover their own strengths as leaders to support others and to engage
  in change management. \n\nPrior participation in Educators Essentials or 
 other faculty development focused on these topics is strongly encouraged. 
 A self-assessment is available in the course to help you decide if this co
 urse is right for you. If you are uncertain about your knowledge and skill
 s in regards to any of the questions\, we strongly recommend you take the 
 Educator Essential Certificate first.\n\nCertificate completion requires p
 articipation in two full-day in-person sessions (Part 1 and Part 2\, to be
  taken in order\; do not have to be completed during the same academic yea
 r)\, as well as an experiential activity of your choosing (approximate tim
 e commitment: 2 hours). This certificate is open to faculty and staff only
 .\n\nThis event is in person only. No online or hybrid option is currently
  offered.
