University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

This hands-on workshop will teach students, faculty and staff the basics around promoting oneself online. Attendees will learn about approaches to sharing their research on social media, on digital scholarship platforms like OrchidID or Google Scholar, and elsewhere on the web.

In addition to this conceptual practice, attendees will learn the basics of GitHub pages, and use a template to prepare a free, professional-looking, public ciriculum vitae (CV) on the GitHub platform, which they will be able to use to promote their work online.

UCSF welcomes everyone, including people with disabilities to our events and exhibits. To request a reasonable accommodation for this event, please contact Sean Purcell by emailing sean.purcell@ucsf.edu as soon as possible.
