Synapse Coffee Chat with Ankur Paliwal: Why it is critical to cover diversity, equity and inclusion in science

Synapse: UCSF Student Voices is proud to present the fifth annual science speaker series with an award-winning independent journalist who writes about science, inequity and LGBTQIA+ persons, based in New Delhi.

Enjoy a cup of coffee as Paliwal talks about how and why he became a science journalist, the importance of science journalism in the current social and political climate and why we should focus on underreported subjects in science. Then follow up with a Q&A session.

First 50 UCSF students who RSVP by April 11 will receive a $10 Starbucks e-gift card.
