Symposium on Immune Tolerance - Present and Future

UCSF is holding an all-day symposium on immune tolerance to honor Dr. Abul K. Abbas and provide an outstanding scientific program of basic and translational discovery to the Bay Area California and online community. This symposium will include many of the top researchers in field and highlight the state-of-the-art science pioneered by Dr. Abbas while at Harvard and UCSF. The speakers include: Vijay Kuchroo, Art Weiss, Mark Anderson, Laurie Glimcher, Ron Germain, Mike Rosenblum, Lucy Walker, Lewis Lanier and others. The objectives are to present to the immunology community the state-of- the-art research in the field of immune tolerance and the clinical application of novel therapeutics to treat autoimmune diseases.
