Title: Personalized Non-Invasive Ventilation Masks for Pediatrics
Summary: A personalized 3D-printed non-invasive ventilation (NIV) mask hopes to provide a better-fitting interface by using high-resolution 3D facial scans to match a patient’s unique facial anatomy. By tailoring the geometry to the individual, the device hopes to improve comfort, reduce air leaks, and decrease pressure-related skin injuries. This approach is especially helpful for infants, children, and patients with atypical or delicate facial structures who often struggle with standard off-the-shelf masks.
