An inclusive educational experience that centers around African American Stories of Identity, Beauty and Humanity with live demonstrations.
Target Audience: UCSF Health Department of Nursing Staff and Wider Community
Upon Completion, learners will be able to:
- Discuss spiritual, cultural, and social background of African American hair
- Demonstrate appropriate hair care for different hair textures/styles
- Recognize equity and respect through provision of African American hair care
