Social Media Fireside Chat with Monica McLemore

Is Twitter worth your time? How can you use Twitter to promote your work, track your field and network with others? What are the rewards and pitfalls? How do you balance your professional and personal life on Twitter?

Join Twitter expert and School of Nursing assistant professor Monica McLemore, PhD, MPH, RN, to learn how she’s using Twitter to learn, connect and advocate. McLemore will share her experience on Twitter, including how she has successfully leveraged the platform to promote her research and issues that are important to her, network with others, connect with reporters, and deal with Internet trolls and other challenges.

The fireside chat will include a Q&A. Questions will be taken from the audience, both those attending in person and those joining via the live stream.
