Social Media and Health Care: Amplify Your Voice

Social media platforms provide an opportunity for health care professionals to share information, debate health care policy issues, and promote health behaviors.

Join us for a stimulating discussion on how UCSF leaders are using social media to amplify their voices. Hear how health care professionals Bob Wachter, MD, resident alum, chair of the Department of Medicine; Vinayak Prasad, MD, MPH, associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics; and Ifeyinwa Asiodu, RN, PhD ’14, MS ’12, assistant professor in the Department of Family Health Care Nursing, use social media to share their work, advocate, and engage in dialogue about the latest health-related topics, including COVID-19, cancer health policy, and reproductive health.

This program is brought to you by the UCSF Office of Alumni Relations.
