Veronica Alvarez, Vice Chair, Equity, Inclusion & Structural Change, shares her personal health journey and reflects on the profound connections she forged with faculty and residents at UCSF following her transition from employee and colleague, to patient. Veronica will engage in a dialogue with her surgeon, ObGyn Resident Blanca Morales, sharing their perspectives on biases and explore the biases they have encountered in academia and how they can #InspireInclusion.
