About the speaker:
Originally from Minnesota, Colin completed his undergraduate studies at Wartburg College in Iowa before moving to the UK, where he completed an MSc in Medical Anthropology at University of Edinburgh.  He then returned to Iowa, where he spent 5 months volunteering full-time for the '07-08 Obama campaign prior to enrolling in a combined MD/MPH program at University of Iowa.  In residency at UCSF he has focused on public psychiatry and education.  He is currently completing the UCSF Public Psychiatry Fellowship and has spent the year working with Alameda County Health Care for the Homeless.
