Join fellow park-lovers for a wide-ranging conversation with stories, surprises, and secrets of Golden Gate Park. There will also be park trivia, and a chance to win prizes!

  • Featuring park experts Marta Lindsey, Nancy Botkin, & Susan Freinkel

  • Hosted by Laura Klivans, KQED

  • Special guests include Nicole Meldahl with the Western Neighborhoods Project, David Miles, Jr., and more

Discovering Golden Gate Park: A Local’s Guide will be available for purchase from West Portal Bookshop, and you can get your copy signed before or after the event.

This event is free and open to the public. Arrive early to ensure a seat. This will be held on the lawn directly abutting the Conservatory of Flowers building, and will be held indoors in the Orchid Pavilion in the case of rain – in which there is limited seating.
