Students & Postdocs: Would you like to understand what people mean when they refer to a career in Science Communication? Then this “kickoff” workshop for Science Communication and Writing month is for you!
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
1. Name the variety of careers in this work sector
2. Begin to take steps to develop a portfolio
3. Develop a strategy for networking and career exploration
Whether you are just curious about what job titles exist in the career sector of science communication, or you know you are ready to position yourself to get employment with your communication skills, this is the session for you. Come for the lunch; leave with a little more information and the start of a plan!
