* Please note this workshop requires participation from Dec 4-6, 2019*

This 2.5 day workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to work collaboratively and independently to improve their writing. Each day will include a combination of interactive presentations, application exercises, discussions, and independent writing time with options for consultations/feedback.

Presenters include:

Toni Gallo from the senior editorial staff of Academic Medicine
Anna Cianciolo is a faculty member at Southern Illinois University and the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Teaching and Learning in Medicine
Louise Aronson, MD from UCSF
Bridget O'Brien, PhD from UCSF
Author Panel including Karen Hauer, Justin Sewell, and Louise Aronson from UCSF

Learning Objectives:

Write with more confidence & joy (and/or less fear & dread)
Write more clearly, concisely, and compellingly
Plan a way to write more consistently and efficiently

In Your Registration: Please provide a brief description of the manuscript you plan to work on during the writing workshop. It can be a research paper, innovation description, commentary/perspective, or review paper (250 words max).
