The Medical Peer to Peer Exchange (MEDEX) was created in 2011 by then Marine Expeditionary Brigade General Melvin Spiese, USMC, and brought a small group of local medical professionals to the Shock Trauma Platoon (STP) on the Marina Green, and the LHD medical bays at Pier 30/32. Now in its 9th year, the annual MEDEX is a unique training and education opportunity that brings together civilian and military medical professionals to develop and share best practices.

The San Francisco Fleet Week Center for Humanitarian Assistance, UCSF, the US Navy, and the US Marine Corps are proud to present the 9th Annual MEDEX Program as part of 2019 San Francisco Fleet Week.
