Info Session

Curious about a career in OMFS or Oral Medicine (OM)?

Join us for a career exploration Q&A event featuring Dr. Saghezchi, UCSF OMFS Program Director and OMFS and OM residents, who will share their experiences, insights, and advice about this rewarding specialty. Whether you're exploring career options or want to learn more about residency training, this session offers a welcoming space to ask questions and connect with a current resident.

By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify the key components of OMFS and OM residency training, including clinical responsibilities, didactic requirements, and how residents progress across their program
  • Describe the OMFS and OM residency application process, including timeline expectations, required materials, and characteristics of competitive applicants
  • Identify actionable steps to explore  OMFS and OM as specialties, including shadowing opportunities, relevant student organizations, and specialty-related events

This is a great opportunity to explore 2 dental specialties and gain a firsthand perspective from residents in the field.

  • Lunch will be provided for all who register through Handshake, so please RSVP today!
  • Food will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

We look forward to seeing you there!

This event is an annual collaboration with between CPD and ADEA
