 the UCSF Department of Surgery.  \n\nAbout the 2016 Dunphy Professor\n\nRo
 bert C. Robbins\, M.D. is President and CEO of the Texas Medical Center\, 
 and an internationally recognized cardiac surgeon. Dr. Robbins has focused
  his clinical efforts on acquired cardiac diseases with a special expertis
 e in the surgical treatment of congestive heart failure. His research incl
 udes the investigation of stem cells for cardiac regeneration\, cardiac tr
 ansplant allograft vasculopathy\, bioengineered blood vessels\, and automa
