About this Event
Add to calendarBrain cancer changes so many aspects of one’s life so it is not uncommon for it to put a strain on significant relationships. Caregivers can become overwhelmed with all the additional responsibilities required of them while patients can be overwhelmed with the significant energy needed to adapt to their ‘new normal’. Taking time to focus on the relationship can often fall by the wayside as stress accumulates. Yet, building or maintaining a strong bond during this period can be crucial for both parties’ well-being. Join relationship expert Dr. Michael McNulty to learn strategies and tools to help couples living with brain cancer find support in each other through this difficult experience.
Both survivors and caregivers are welcome to attend. All are invited to stay After the Show to continue the discussion with one another. Sponsored by the UCSF Sheri Sobrato Brisson Brain Cancer Survivorship Program
