Paula Chatterjee, MD, MPH
Dr. Paula Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Senior Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. She is a practicing physician and researcher whose work focuses on financing, quality, and patient outcomes in safety-net hospitals. She has also evaluated the consequences of alternative payment models on low-income populations, as well as spillover effects of various state policies related to the Medicaid program. Dr. Chatterjee completed her residency and chief residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Prior to that, she received her BS and MPH from Yale University and her MD from Harvard Medical School.
