His group develops robust computational biology techniques to model experimental design and inference of many types of perturbation assays. He will discuss the process and intuition of building the hierarchical Bayesian model, Rosace, which utilizes knowledge about Deep Mutational Scanning data to improve statistical inference. He will also discuss related extensions.
