Learning objectives for presentation #1:
At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:

  • Describe the prevalence of sexual minority, youth court-involved, non-incarcerated (CINI) in a well-characterized cohort of justice-involved adolescents
  • Summarize the unique mental health, sexual risk behaviors, and substance use patterns of sexual minority CINI youth compared with non-sexual minority CINI youth
  • Apply these findings to formulate practice implications among justice-involved youth and subsequent research questions

Learning objectives for presentation #2:
At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:

  • Describe how urban environments can affect health and reproduce health disparities
  • Understand the process of gentrification as it may relate to population mental health
  • Cite evidence linking gentrification to mental and physical health risks in vulnerable populations
