  us for Postdoc Slam to find out!\n\nWe are excited to be organizing UCSF's
  6th Annual Postdoc Slam Competition\, culminating with the main event on S
 eptember 19\, as part of UCSF's celebration of National Postdoc Appreciatio
 n Week.\n\nJoin us in person at Mission Bay or remotely via live stream as 
 10 postdoc finalists each present their research in 3 minutes or less in fr
 ont of the judges and live and remote audiences – in language accessible to
  a general audience. Cash prizes of $4\,000\, $2\,000\, and $1\,000 will be
  awarded to the 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd prize winners selected by the judges. N
 ote that YOU may also be a judge! The winner of the "People's Choice" categ
 ory ($750 prize) will be chosen by the live and remote audience.\n\nThe Pos
 tdoc Slam competition at UCSF is presented by the Office for Postdoctoral S
