University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF
Free Event

Note: Registration required (register through Eventbrite)

Description:
PhD students & postdocs: Need help writing your application materials for the AAAS Fellowship, the CCST Fellowship, or other health/science policy fellowships? Come and craft your document at an OCPD Application Materials Clinic (AMCs) specifically designed for PhDs and postdocs seeking a science policy experience.

Join us for an interactive workshop that will teach you how to draft your documents in a way that clearly shows why you're a top candidate. Attendees will also have opportunities to participate in activities that will help them critique a statement for a policy application and learn all the steps involved in getting your application ready.

There are 18 spots, so please register in advance here. The deadline for the AAAS policy fellowship is Tuesday November 1st.

Presenter:

Patti Meyer, OCPD Program Director, Career Development, Non-Academic Careers

Please bring a draft of one of the documents you need for your policy fellowship to this event, and a laptop, if you have either. Don't have any of your documents started? Come anyway! This is a clinic, so we will facilitate you getting some work done.

Brought to you in cooperation with the Science Policy Group of UCSF:  https://orgsync.com/63524/chapter
