Pediatric Palliative Care and Opioid Utilization in LMICs

Anu Agrawal, MD is an Asstant Clinical Professor and Affiliate Faculty with IGHS. He joined UCSF Benioff Childrens Hospital in 2014 and is is Director of  Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Service and Associate Director of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program. He completed his own fellowship in the same program before working at Texas Children’s Hematology Center as a medical director of hematology in Africa.

His global health work has informed his passion for access to pediatric palliative care. The majority of young people in need of palliative care live in low- and middle-income countries, where curative treatment is less available.
