Hosted by the Nursing Professional Development Council during Nursing Professional Development Week with a focus on…Nursing Professional Development! This event will facilitate panel sessions to bring awareness of the Professional Development opportunities available within the practice of nursing.

Discussion topics will include:

• Pathways to certification and career ladder advancement (Clinical Nurse III/IV)
• The opportunities and impact within advancement to a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, or Nurse Researcher role 
• Evidence-Based Practice fellowship as a bridge to improve outcomes
• An overview of the Center for Nursing Excellence & Innovation (CNEI) and its vision to promote excellence in nursing practice
