The WomanLifeFreedom at UCSF group is proud to host the Norooz (New Year) celebration. Norooz is celebrated in many countries such as Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. It will be on March 20th 2023 at 2:24pm PST. This year, due to the Woman Life Freedom uprising in Iran, we are upholding and honoring this important cultural event at UCSF on March 25th (2:00 - 5:00pm) as a symbol of unity and solidarity with the people of Iran.
