Join us for this interactive program where you will have an opportunity to reflect on your goals and practice your networking skills. During the second half of the program, the Office of Career and Professional Development will be moderating a panel of pharmacists who will provide their tips and advice on how to be successful when networking at conferences.
By the end of this workshop you will be able to:
- Define networking and articulate your goals
- Recognize and practice networking etiquette
- Better manage networking contacts so you can build sustainable professional relationships
- Identify successful strategies when networking at conferences
Snacks will be provided but feel free to bring your own lunch; please register in advance.
The session is geared towards pharmacy students, but all current and former UCSF students and postdocs are welcome to attend.
*** This workshop is being co-hosted with the student chapter at UCSF of the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP)
