Faculty Mentoring
Please join Mitch Feldman, MD, MPhil, and VPAA for Faculty Mentoring, in this
interactive session specifically aimed at junior faculty (Assistant and early Associate
Professors) in which we will discuss how mentorship can help you to identify your
career sweet spot and progress in your career at UCSF. Topics will include:
Using mentoring relationships and an individual development plan to identify and progress
on your career roadmap
Integrating your personal and professional values in your life and career
Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance via the registration link.
Dr. Feldman is Professor of Medicine, Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine of UCSF Health,
and the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Mentoring in the Office of Faculty and Academic Affairs where
he directs the UCSF Faculty Mentoring Program. His research has contributed to evidence that mentoring matters in career success and satisfaction. He has been an invited speaker at major universities across the US and Asia and is proud to be a member of the UCSF Academy of Medical Educators.
