The Campus Council on Faculty Life (CCFL) is pleased to sponsor four programs for faculty who are interested in leadership development. 

‌‌CCFL and CORO, a nonprofit leadership organization, have partnered to offer faculty an opportunity to learn, in an interactive workshop setting, essential leadership skills for leading teams and reducing conflict.

All sessions will be presented in-person and are limited to 20 faculty members

New-two part series  only those registrants who can attend both sessions should apply

Outcomes:

  • Increased understanding of the negotiation process and ability to create and consider mutual-gains negotiations.
  • Shared understanding of the differences between positions and interests, and how to apply this framework when negotiating.

Sample Activities:

  • Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of mutual-gains negotiation.
  • Participants will engage in hands-on practice through role-playing and small group exercises, applying mutual-gains negotiation strategies.
  • Participants will practice recognizing their own interests as well as those of others, which is essential for successful negotiation.
