Mindfulness is a practice of relating to our present-moment experience with openness, curiosity and kindness. This 8-week class is specially designed to help teens learn powerful mindfulness-based tools to reduce stress, increase health and well-being, and follow through on what is important to you.

Mindfulness can have a positive impact in the following ways:

  • Developing feelings of peace, well-being, and happiness
  • Increasing performance in academics, sports, and work
  • Improving relationships, sleep, and the immune system
  • Enhancing creativity, attention, and concentration–the foundation for all learning
  • Reducing stress, difficult emotions, chronic physical pain, and addictive behavior
