Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week program that introduces you to mindfulness practice in the form of sitting meditation, body awareness and mindful movement, modeled by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD.

The MBSR program at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine includes a free information session and a 30-minute private interview with the instructor before the first class. Attending an informational session is strongly encouraged. Each class also includes one all-day session on a Saturday or Sunday.

Note: AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM are available for this course (see accreditation details below). Total in-class time is 28 hours over 8 weeks.
