Attendees will:

  • Describe the three categories of triggers for behavioral symptoms of dementia and list several examples for each;
  • Explain the reasons that current real-world treatment of BPSD differs from those considered “first-line” by experts;
  • Name the four steps of the DICE approach; and apply the DICE approach to BPSD in practice.
