After 15 years at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center, Dr. Grinberg will be moving to Jacksonville, Florida as a clinician-investigator and professor at the Mayo Clinic. This will be her final lecture before she leaves the Bay Area in mid-May.

Learning Objectives

  • Review key scientific contributions from neuropathological research at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center with a focus on how these findings have informed the diagnosis and classification of neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Demonstrate how integrating clinicopathological correlations with basic science has advanced personalized translational neuroscience.
  • Reflect on lessons learned from interdisciplinary collaboration and team science at UCSF, and discuss future directions for driving impact in neuropathology in large-scale, multicenter research initiatives.
