Molecular epidemiology of antimalarial resistance in Uganda and the impact of drug and insecticide resistance on the transmission of malaria from humans to mosquitoes.

Melissa Conrad, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of HIV, ID and Global Medicine, collaborating extensively through the IDRC (Infectious Disease Research Collaboration) http://idrc-uganda.org to conduct high quality research in infectious and other diseases of public health importance.
