At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the intended €˜construct they are planning to assess using simulation and appraise how well they have defined that construct.
  • Define and give an example of an interpretation-use argument, as outlined in Kane'€™s validity framework.
  • List the four inferences from Kane’s framework, and choose types of data to collect when evaluating their simulation-based assessment program.
