At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the intended construct€™ they are planning to assess using simulation and appraise how well they have defined that construct.
  • Define and give an example of an interpretation-use argument, as outlined in Kane'€™s validity framework.
  • List the four inferences from Kane’s framework, and choose types of data to collect when evaluating them in a simulation-based assessment program.

UCSF is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

UCSF designates this live activity for a maximum of 277 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
