University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

The Office of Diversity and Outreach and Human Resources have partnered to provide an update to the Best Practices in Diversity Recruitment Toolkit and Hiring Guide. Recent updates provide enhanced information regarding prospective employees with disabilities including accessible and inclusive marketing, interview, selection, onboarding, and additional reference material.

The toolkit is an interactive, online toolkit for best practices in diversity recruitment. Whether you have hiring responsibilities, serve on an interview committee, or are simply interested in educating yourself, we invite you to access the toolkit and the supplementary hiring guide.

The tools aim to:

  • Standardize information on conducting recruitment and hiring
  • Share best practices for a fair and equitable recruitment and hiring process
  • Provide resources to support recruiting and retaining diverse employees.

Accessibility: Our events are open to all UCSF employees, including individuals with disabilities. To request a reasonable accommodation for this event, please contact Wendy Tobias by emailing wendy.tobias@Ucsf.edu as soon as possible.

"The CDC reports 27% of adults in the U.S. have a disability. The importance of attracting, hiring, and retaining employees with disabilities of all backgrounds is key to supporting UCSF's programmatic infrastructure and to enhacing the climate for people with disabilities." UCSF Chief Accessibility and Inclusion Officer, Wendy Tobias, Ed.D.
