Let's Talk: How to Have a Conversation with Kids about Cancer

This workshop will explore:

• The importance of communication with children about cancer;
• What children need and understand at different ages; and
• Age-appropriate communication techniques.

You will have the opportunity to increase your confidence in having difficult conversations with your children, receive resources, and connect with others going through a similar process.

This workshop is open to non-UCSF patients as well as UCSF patients.

There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required, as seating is limited. If you prefer to register by phone, please call 415-885-3693. Registration will end on July 30 or when full, whichever comes first.
